Traces
This series looks the artist as a voyager leaving the confines of her studio to make work. The landscape is used as the canvas on which she walked. The path traced with lines drawn into the land and documented paths carved by nature. Walking is far more than a basic human act, especially that of a solitary woman. Red tracks therefore signal the danger of that path when wandered alone.
